Wine rated 90/ 100
Domain rated (guide 2024) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the wine:
This cuvée boasts fine tannins in a smooth, well-coated texture that is powerful in its Mediterranean flavors.
About the domain :
Robert Joyeux's career as an industrialist went hand in hand with extensive renovation work on the estate, enabling him to create the Corbières of his dreams, elegant and expressive of the complexity and variety of its terroirs. Since 2011, he and his wife Geneviève have devoted themselves full-time to their estate, and their son Hubert has just joined them to promote this fine cru to the four corners of the world. The estate has been certified organic since 2013, and the grapes are cared for to perfection. Gentle extractions, no crushing of the grapes and the use of gravity ensure generous yet refined and sincere wines. The cuvée Inédite has depth and staying power, while the cuvée numéro-1, exuberant and full of character, deserves its name. We were also seduced by the new Cuvée La Coume, tonic and fresh. White and rosé wines are delicious.

About the domain :
La Cendrillon? A place in Ornaisons, at the foot of the Fontfroide massif, an old inn along the Roman road that linked the Narbonnaise region to Aquitaine. A native of the region, entrepreneur Robert Joyeux took over the family estate in 1993, and has spared no expense in investments: new plantations, and the construction of a winery. Today, the 42 ha estate has been certified organic since the end of 2012.
Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Rated (2020 guide) 91/100 (Outstanding wine)
About the wine:
[...] Inédite 2017, is aged in foudre, offering notes of oil, crushed stone, licorice and blueberry on the nose. It's a supple, full-bodied wine, utterly seductive on the palate, offering plenty of flavor without excess heaviness and finishing long and silky.
