"Tasty, brioche-like, with a hint of lemon zest, this is undeniably one of Limouxin's finest bubbles. Very invigorating, straightforward in its natural brut balance, the palate settles into a fine effervescence." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2017 - RVF) Aged on laths for 24 months, with no dosage, this Crémant de Limoux is a light golden color, with notes of white flowers and verbena on the nose. Its fine, refined bubbles are long-lasting, giving a smooth, tasty wine of great purity... Enjoy as an aperitif, or with delicate dishes (oysters, scallops)...

Rated (2017 guide) 15.5/20 (Good wine)
Domaine noté (guide 2017) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and that, as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the wine:
Tasty, brioche-like, with a hint of lemon zest, this is undeniably one of Limouxin's finest bubbles. Very invigorating, straightforward in its natural brut balance, the palate rests on a fine effervescence.
About the domain :
We are delighted to welcome Gilles Azam's domaine to our Guide, located in the upper Aude valley, in the commune of Roquetaillade, perhaps the future cru communal of the Limouxin. For several years now, this production, centered around a few well-defined cuvées, has established itself as a useful reference point for the entire appellation. The fruit of attentive viticulture, aware of the value of the place and its historical foundation, these wines possess an assertive character, always intense and fresh, which will blossom in contact with the air and in the company of foods rich in flavor.

The bubbles are fine but a little invasive. The color is brilliant, the nose floral and the palate a little recessed. To be reviewed in a year's cellar when it will have mellowed.
