This blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache reveals a complex, harmonious nose of lavender, garrigue, blackcurrant and a touch of black pepper. The palate is impressively extracted, full and round, with concentrated aromas of jammy black and red fruits and a bouquet of garrigue notes. A concentrate of Languedoc flavors!

Destemming (no crushing) and gravity-fed vatting. Separate vinification of each grape variety using traditional fermentation with two délestages and pigeage. Post-fermentation maceration for 16 days.

About the domain :
This small estate was created in 2006 by Peter and Deborah Core, Englishmen with a love of the region and nature, who cultivate 6 ha of vines organically on a Villafranchian terrace on the slopes of a basaltic flow.
