"Las Planelos? The name of the sandy-clay parcel that gave birth to this blend of Chenin and Chardonnay. The nose combines broom, apricot and fresh hazelnut, underlined by a delicate touch of vanilla. A harmonious approach extended by a tender palate, with a slight sweetness perfectly digested by "top-notch" acidity. A fine finish of lime blossom honey, fig and toast. "(Le Guide Hachette des Vins) A Limoux on a par with the great wines of the Languedoc!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2020 guide) 14/20 (Good wine)
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the wine:
Powerful, ripe, mellow nose of sweet vanilla, white fruit, bergamot and lily, warm and full on the palate, with a touch of woodiness, bitterness and freshness on the finish. Full of character. For fans of rich, woody whites, this is a very well-made wine.
About the domain :
Julia Hubrich and Julien Gil are two young, passionate winegrowers who set up on a rocky plateau at the gateway to the Limoux appellation less than ten years ago. They cultivate and vinify their nine hectares in the most natural way possible: "it's not the cellar that improves the wine, but the work of the man in the vineyard". We can't help but admire the progress and coherence of the estate's wines, which have become unmissable.

About the domain :
Two young winemakers and a young estate, created in 2006. Originally from Dresden, Julia trained in Montpellier and Bordeaux. As for Julien, a native of the South of France with a passion for cooking and wine from his early teens, he took a detour to the Médoc to learn the trade. The couple began by "saving" 2 ha of old Carignan vines that were due to be grubbed up, and then acquired vines in the Limoux AOC. A total of 10 ha.
