"Beautiful dark garnet color, still young. Racy nose combining cherry, redcurrant, ink, licorice and floral accents. Smooth attack, concentrated, silky, dense palate with superb tension and pure, persistent aromas. A delight to wait for. (Le Guide Gilbert & Gaillard 2020) A great vintage!

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domain rated 1*Star (A serious, commendable production, in keeping with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))

About the domain :

The result of a long family history, Domaine Bruneau-Dupuy is now run by Sylvain. Since 2012, the vineyard has been in organic conversion. The estate covers an area of 20 hectares, protected by forest to the north. Half of the vineyard is located on south-facing slopes, covered with old vines planted on clay-limestone soils. The wines produced from these vines are full-bodied and long on the palate. The other half of the vineyard is planted in sandy soils, producing lighter, fruitier wines to be enjoyed young. At less than 15 euros, the wines offer good value for money.
