This cuvée is extracted after a long maceration to allow all the fruity aromas of the Rolle grape to express themselves. Its fine and delicate nose with notes of citrus, jasmine, and exotic fruits leads to a fresh and silky palate. A beautiful white wine marked by finesse, ending with a salty finish, the signature of its seaside terroir. As an aperitif or with fish tartare, Hélène will surprise you!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2021 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
Located just 900 meters from the sea, this family estate covering nearly 80 hectares sold all its production in bulk until Yannick Burles arrived in 2012 as technical director. Most of the production is bottled at the estate, beautiful vintages are produced, and year after year the wines improve admirably. The vineyard has been carefully restructured, which bodes well for the future of this rising star of the La Londe appellation, which is now contributing to the dynamic development of wines from this commune with undeniable potential. The team in place is making the wines shine.

About the estate:
This wine estate, whose existence has been documented since the 10th century, became the property of the Carthusian monks of La Verne in 1588. In 1855, Horace Vernet, official painter to Napoleon III, acquired it and built a château on the site. In 1920, it was bought by the Faré family, who still own the property today. They relaunched bottling at the estate in 2010 and in 2018 entrusted the management of its 65 hectares of vines to Julie Barneau and Christophe Deffilippi.

The Côtes de Provence, particularly known for their rosé, deserve to be tasted in white and red. Here, the Rolle grape is masterfully crafted, offering freshness on the palate, notes of citron, and a long finish that lingers on jammy flavors, with a hint of the sea. It is simple and very good. Perfect with a monkfish tagine with candied lemons.
