Domaine de la Brunely
Domaine de la Brunely is a family estate that has been run from father to son since 1730. Located in Sarrians, in the Rhône Valley, with a breathtaking view of the Dentelles de Montmirail, it is now run by Charles Carichon and produces wines in the Côtes-du-Rhône appellations. But thanks to vineyards in various locations, Domaine de la Brunely also produces magnificent vintages in appellations d'origine contrôlée such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Côtes du Ventoux.

The "Domaine de la Brunely" site combines all the natural elements of Provence: vines, olive trees, cypresses, umbrella pines, broom and lavender. Domaine de la Brun ely is at the heart of an incomparable place to produce wines of character.

With its cherry-red color and purplish highlights, Châteauneuf du Pape is full-bodied and dense. Controlled ageing brings out notes of vanilla, toast and brioche. As for its structure, a still-tight tannin augurs well for the future. To be discovered!

A new addition to the range, the domaine's Cairanne parcel is located in the extreme south of the appellation. The ripe red and black fruits are intense on the nose and palate. Between freshness and fruit density, this first cuvée is a success!

"The Vacqueyras Cuvée la Tour Aux Cailles 2012 is a blend of Grenache and Syrah aged in concrete tanks. Gamey, earthy aromas on olive and mint, and it has plenty of tannins. It will be interesting to see how it develops in bottle. (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker). All the richness of the beautiful sandy-loam garrigues in the south of the appellation, a very fine Vacqueyras!

"More concentrated, richer, fuller-bodied and structured, the 2010 Châteauneuf-du-Pape l'Anglesse will require patience. It has a deep bouquet of blackcurrant, toasty, smoky scents and hints of graphite in its seductive, rich, full-bodied profile. It will need 3 to 4 years of cellaring, and could age for 15 years or more..." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

"Gigondas Les Rocassieres 2010 is a small cuvée of Grenache and Mourvèdre from 60-year-old vines, aged in vats. It's soft, rich, ripe, blackcurrant-scented, with a smooth texture, full body and plenty of power. Of course, only perfectly ripe fruit was harvested from this vineyard planted on gravelly, alluvial soils. Long, rich and pure, this 2010 should drink well over a decade." Cuvée Massif d'Uchaux opens harmoniously with aromas of ripe fruit and spicy notes, quite complex. This red wine is full-bodied and supple on the palate, with well-structured tannins, elegance and long-lasting aromas. A great Côtes du Rhône Villages to discover!

Notes : Robert Parker 91+/100, Guide Hachette 2**(Outstanding wine)
"A limpid wine with violet tints, smelling of violets, black fruits and pepper, with Mourvèdre adding its characteristic animal note. The palate is full-bodied, dense, silky and suave, with a peppery finish. A Vacqueyras marked by Syrah, with a bright future ahead of it: three to ten years". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2012)
