About the domain :
A classic estate in the Mercurol area, regularly producing supple wines for early drinking. The gaby cuvée is often more ambitious, sometimes with woody notes that are a little too pronounced in certain vintages with little substance. The reds here are more successful than the whites, as confirmed by our tasting of the 2017s.

About the wine :
The black olive and tar notes of the 2020 Hermitage follow through with flavors of purple berries and blackberries. This robust, medium- to full-bodied wine with lively acids and dusty tannins will take time to come into its own. Viale Syrah comes from parcels near the center of the appellation in Les Beaumes and Les Diognières (also spelled Dionnières).
