"A model of balance"

This Grenache/Syrah blend reveals all the power of Lirac, delivering a complex nose combining black fruits, blackberry jam, garrigue, and licorice. The palate is full-bodied, rich, dense, and velvety, with plenty of freshness and well-present but fine and supple tannins. The finish is marked by aromas of wild thyme and zan.

Rated estate (2026 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly awarded by the guide)

About the estate:

Located at the foot of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce sanctuary in Rochefort-du-Gard, not far from the ancient marshes drained by monks in the Middle Ages, this estate, created in 1994 from the merger of three small farms, has demonstrated consistent quality. Succeeding his parents Jean-Pierre and Dominique, Romain Dubois and his wife Laure, now solely in charge of the estate, have created a new cellar and converted the 20 hectares of vines to organic farming. A (very) safe bet.
