"Les Hauts de Julien 2014 is easily the most impressive wine from the Perrin family. A blend of Syrah and Grenache co-fermented from high-altitude plots, it offers sublime notes of black and blue fruits, violets, crushed pepper, and wet stones. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, elegant, straightforward, and silky, this is a high-class Southern Rhône wine with one foot in the Northern Rhône." (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker)

3-star rating (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)
About the estate:
Over the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring appellations in the southern Rhône Valley. This ambition has been successfully realized both in Luberon with La Vieille Ferme and in the other terroirs presented. Perfect mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.
