"A concentrated red wine thanks to grapes from old vines."

The Clos des Fées Vielles Vignes 2022 red wine has a nose of fresh red berries and is exceptionally expressive, with hints of sweet spices in the background. Concentrated and aromatic on the palate, with silky tannins. Enjoy with a country-style terrine or a pot-roasted chicken.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 93/100

3-star rating (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Hervé Bizeul, winemaker and rebellious writer, has little left to prove, as his estate is among the elite of Roussillon. That doesn't stop him from continually questioning himself, exploring new avenues, innovating, thinking outside the box, and creating new vintages. This is particularly evident in his Pinot Noir, which came out of nowhere and bravely faces the harsh sun and tramontane winds of the Agly Valley. Here, each cuvée has its own distinct personality, sometimes uncompromising, just like its winemaker. No fewer than seven different terroirs give rise to a serious and diverse interpretation of Roussillon. A model of its kind.
