Note and review by M. OLIVIER R. Published on 28/10/2019

A promise not kept: it's difficult to make a fresh, light wine with the beautiful but late Mourvèdre grape variety. The color lives up to its name, but the wine is cruelly lacking in definition and clarity. Little alcohol, the wine seems to lack maturity, little or no fruit, the nose is very discreet. The palate lacks depth and relief. Admittedly, this is a short-macerated wine made for thirst, but here it's far too short and soulless. It's a real pity, because there's a bias here, but it's not achieved.
