"Light red in direct pressing

"Cherries, cranberries, black pepper and some roasted herbs. Medium-bodied, with a creamy core of cherries and currants in the center. Silky with a caressing texture. Smooth and soft despite 15.5% alcohol. Well-balanced and tasty. (James Suckling 2023) This 100% Grenache bears the name "Sinopia", borrowed from the red-orange pigment revealed in some of the estate's soils. It's a wine to share with friends, over red meat or pizza, perfect for watching the Rugby World Cup.

Wine rated (guide 2023) 16/20

About the wine:

A transparent color and a lovely sound. Raspberries and raspberry tea! You can taste the high alcohol content, which also gives the wine a red candy sweetness. Baked raspberries and strawberries - red fruit soup. Velvety tannins. On the finish, nutmeg and cinnamon are quite intense and spicy. I'd like a little more freshness, but it's very honest - true to place and variety.
