Jancis Robinson
"Spicy, fruity and persistent".
Papillon is the name of the estate's workhorse, but also that of this beautiful blend of Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Mourvèdre. In the image of man's greatest conquest, this is an elegant wine with character and sensitivity. A supple, gourmet cuvee!

Wine rated (guide 2023) 16.5/20
About the wine:
Very intense blackberries, a warm, black olive, lavender side. The tannins are supple, soft, with a touch of iron and therefore not lacking in presence. Taste of black coffee and iron on the finish.
