"Celebrating red fruits
"The nose is bursting with raspberries, red currants, white pepper and herbs, and follows through to a medium-bodied palate. Supple and playful, with crunchy berries and white pepper mingling. A fruity, fun wine. Made from organically grown grapes. Drink now. (James Suckling 2024)

Expert opinion
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
Fabien Jouves, who works organically on the slopes of Trespoux, the highest area of the appellation, offers a range of refined wines that respect the identity of the terroirs, even to the point of claiming the geological origin on the label of his Burgundy bottles. Offering a contemporary approach, the cuvées have the dual advantage of precision and freshness; however, depending on the type of ageing, there may be a certain coldness in the definition of the materials.

In the spirit of nature and recreation, a curiosity with a profile as fruity as it is fresh and easy to digest. Resolutely innovative, this VDF is very refreshing and light, with small, slightly rustic tannins that give way to a loose juice of bright red fruits, enhanced by a pinch of pepper. With raspberry and strawberry flavors, the length is so airy that it ends with a furtive finish. There's a clear price premium for originality and trendiness, even though this VDF is a simple wine in its own right. A thirst-quenching wine that's quick and easy to drink. After the required decanting, perfect for convivial aperitif evenings with friends. Score = 3.6.
