White rush
White rush is an estate run by Isabelle Carles and Franck Pascal, who describe themselves as "Paysans vignerons". This exemplary winemaking couple have a solid technical background and a mindset in keeping with the best of the Appellation d'Origine philosophy, and produce carefully-crafted, straightforward Bergerac cuvées. Very early on, they opted for clean farming. The vineyard, located in Vélines, comprises 16.5 hectares of vines cultivated organically and biodynamically, and certified Demeter since 2008, the year of conversion.

All wines from White rush are "natural", with no freeze-dried yeast used for fermentation. Bottling is carried out after long maturation periods, with no added sulfur, on lees, and without disruptive physical processes such as fining or filtration. White rush has established itself as one of the finest estates in the Bergerac region, embodying its revival.

This Bordeaux blend (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon) strikes the perfect balance between concentration, freshness and power. This cuvée should be decanted to give it time to express all its complexity and aromas of blackcurrant buds, raspberries, sap and mocha. If you're patient, you'll be amazed at its potential over time!

"Surprising!"

Atypical, Fleur reveals fruity, pear and citrus notes, as well as springtime white flowers, far from the varietal aromas characteristic of Sauvignon. The palate is rich, fat and generous, with a fresh, saline finish that makes this cuvée very easy to digest. A cuvée for wine lovers with a natural profile!

"This is a serious, dense, powerful wine, with an admittedly greedy structure that will smooth out further in the cellar, blending into this beautiful mass of tasty fruit. If you're impatient, decant it and serve it with some fine meats in sauce". (Les Meilleurs Vins de France - Gault Millau). A dense, powerful Bergerac, with lovely aromas of black fruit and licorice.
