attractive

Equal parts Cabernet Franc and Merlot, this cuvée evokes the harmony of these two grape varieties, expressing themselves with power and tannin, then revealing a surprising freshness and salinity on the finish that calls for another sip. An ode to love!

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France

Domaine rated (2022 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the domain :

Bergerac, in the extreme south-east of the appellation: from his plots on the limestone plateau and deep clay hillsides, worked organically, Julien Auroux looks to the future with serenity. His wines have turned their backs on the Bergerac past, which sought to ape the reds of Bordeaux by forgetting the soil. He, on the other hand, is committed to salinity, frank and precise aromatic expression, with indigenous yeast and almost no added sulfur. He rehabilitates grapes from the past for a return to the future. The range draws from the acidity of the soils a digestible presence and climbs a step this year.
