"After the Mauzac aperitif, Ondenc is uncorked in the simplicity of its vinification: grapes without yeast, without wood, without crushing, but with malo: the roundness of the grapes, its floral flavors and stone fruit notes, its finesse, all add to the pleasure of tasting it. (Le Guide RVF 2024). A 100% Ondenc vinified dry, offering quince and seringua aromas on the nose, with freshness and elegance on the palate. The archetypal fresh and convivial wine, to be shared with friends at any time of day... Don't miss it!

About the wine:
After the Mauzac aperitif, Ondenc is opened in the simplicity of its vinification: grapes without yeast, without wood, without crushing, but with malo: the roundness of the grapes, its floral flavors and stone fruit notes, its finesse, all add to the pleasure of tasting.
About the domain :
The Plageoles family has left its mark on the recent history of wine in Gaillac. Robert, then Bernard and Myriam, who brilliantly took over from him, were pioneers in the defense of local grape varieties and ancestral winemaking techniques. Bernard's sons, Florent and Romain, are gradually taking over, defending the twelve varieties grown in their vineyards, including the delicious prunelart, the extremely rare verdanel and the mauzac quartet (green, red, pink and black). Away from fashion and the beaten track, the domaine continues to produce demanding, exclusively single-vineyard wines with strong personalities. This work of the head, the heart and the hands is fully reflected in a range of cuvées aiming for purity, uprightness and originality.

Original with its apple mouthfeel. Leave to aerate in the glass for 5-10 minutes to open up and reveal all its qualities.
