This dry Riesling from the Baden region offers intense aromas of fruit and white flowers on the nose. On the palate, its tangy structure is reminiscent of citrus fruits mixed with a certain roundness. The salty finish is beautifully long. It is the perfect accompaniment to spicy dishes, fish, or meat dishes with cream sauces. A great success!

About the estate:

Biodynamics always takes a few years to produce results, both in terms of rooting and soil life, and Michel Chapoutier knows this well, having purchased this estate in 2009 with a few friends who are lovers of fine wines. Located in northern Alsace, on a vein of blue schist, the estate is gradually making its mark. The Riesling parcels (Burg, Buehl, and Fels) are beginning to reveal the subtle nuances of their soil.

Review and opinion by Mr. FREDERIC B. Published on March 1, 2020

Drunk in February 2020. Lively attack on the palate with a hint of effervescence. After aeration, the mid-palate becomes creamy and rich, with a fairly long finish. A lovely Riesling.
