Hachette
"A complete and harmonious wine".
"Fresh and greedy on the nose, the aromatic expression of this cuvée vinified in whole bunches evokes peony and morello cherry. After a clean, supple attack, fairly firm but pleasant tannins coat the palate. A full-bodied, harmonious wine that can be aged without unpleasant surprises". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2021)

Domaine noté (guide 2022) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the wine:
Fresh and greedy on the nose, the aromatic expression of this whole-cluster cuvée evokes peony and morello cherry. After a clean, supple attack, firm but pleasant tannins coat the palate. A complete, harmonious wine that will age without any unpleasant surprises.
About the domain :
Founded in 1926 on the northern slopes of Mont Brouilly, this family estate covers 21 ha, with parcels in four crus: brouilly, côte-de-brouilly, régnié and morgon. A sure bet in Beaujolais: the first Favorite was a 1984, and many others have followed. David Duthel took over the running of the estate in 2010, supplementing it with a trading activity.

Domaine noté (guide 2022) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
Cathy Duthel and her husband David Duthel have taken over from Jean-Paul Ruet, who developed bottled sales at this estate founded in 1926. A firm believer in traditional semi-carbonic vinification, Domaine Ruet adapts to the profile of each vintage, partially de-stemming depending on the year, ageing in wood or vats, punching down and de-stemming to offer maximum fruit. Careful selection of plots brings out the marriage of soil and Gamay. A wide and very homogeneous range of wines to discover in a well-stocked cellar.
