Here, aesthetic research focuses on the fine expression of the lieux-dits (mainly in Morgon), the right substance according to the vintage and the capacity for ageing, resulting from attentive viticulture, sensitive vinification, far from dogma, and refined wood-free ageing. The third star has been pinned to the estate's jacket for several years now, and given the consistency and coherence of the range, we're guessing it will remain there for many years to come.

About the wine:

Morgon La Voûte Saint-Vincent 2023 is a blend of plots in the northern part of the appellation. A little closed on the nose, it offers tight red fruits and remains inhibited. The palate is more expressive, with grainy tannins, sapid red fruit and orange peel towards the linear finish. This wine will need a few years in bottle, but it's a little more "grumpy" than this producer's other cuvées.
