"A particularly tasty, convivial wine!

"This beautiful red, predominantly Merlot, reveals itself with complexity and finesse. Ripe fruit, a touch of cocoa and toast brought by barrel ageing, great volume on the palate, fine, silky tannins and a long, refined finish form a devilishly tasty whole. This is a fine, full-bodied bottle, well-coated with oak, destined to age in the cellar for several years. It would be a pleasure to open it with a fine entrecote steak or chest-roasted pigeon". This is a fine, full-bodied bottle, well-coated with oak, destined to age in the cellar for several years. It will then open happily with a fine entrecote steak or a pigeon roasted on the chest. 2027-2034

About the domain :

Ch. les Tours de Peyrat is a 16-hectare family estate (certified organic) planted on the clay-limestone soils of Saint-Paul-de-Blaye, and has been run by Christelle Sauboua since 2000. It is part of the Cars cooperative (1937), renamed "Châteaux solidaires" in 2011, which vinifies separately the harvests of ten or so rigorously selected member châteaux.
