"Vinified like a light red wine!"

This Bordeaux Clairet, vinified like a light red wine, is a real curiosity. Fruity, fresh, and delicate, it is nonetheless balanced and full of character. The Cabernet Franc grapes used to make it give it great elegance. Ideal in summer, as an aperitif, with cold buffets and grilled meats. Well worth discovering!

About the estate:

In 1290, the Fontenille site in Entre-deux-Mers already had vineyards. Then attached to the Abbey of La Sauve-Majeure, this estate with its clay-siliceous terroir became independent in the 17th century. Since 1998, it has been run by Stéphane Defraine, who manages 56 hectares of vines, including 20 hectares of white and 36 hectares of red, currently undergoing conversion to organic farming.
