About the estate:
Yves and Stéphanie Vatelot celebrated 30 years at the helm of Reignac this year. From the outset, the couple has invested heavily in positioning their Bordeaux wines at the highest level, following the advice of Michel Roland. With the arrival of director Nicolas Lesaint in 2009, cultivation methods have evolved to become more organic. This work is beginning to show in the wines, despite a still intrusive aging process. Extractions are more precise thanks to six small truncated cone vats that allow for parcel-by-parcel processing.

About wine:
This wine and Yves Vatelot have been the subject of much discussion in the past, whether as a young vintage or one aged for around ten years. With a black color, the nose is powerful and complex. The wine is dense and charming, with a rich texture that will require several years to mellow. Undoubtedly a great wine.
