Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson

Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson is one of the leading estates in Saint-Romain, in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy.  Domaine Henri et Gilles Buissonhas been a family-run business for eight generations. It is certified Organic will soon be certified Biodyvin from the 2019 vintage onwards. The vineyard covers 19 hectares divided between 15 appellations, with a predominance of Saint-Romain. The other wines are Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, and Corton. These winegrowers produce a wide range of village, Premier Cru, and Grand Cru appellations, with a motto of making good wines at prices that are still reasonable for the region.

The vineyards of Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson are carefully tended, with a focus on low yields, sustainable and rigorous cultivation practices without the use of chemicals, and exclusively manual harvesting. In conversion since 2009,Domaine Henri et Gilles Buissonhas been certified organic since 2012. In the cellar, the winemaking process is also meticulous and remains traditional. It favors fruit and roundness. Henri et Gilles Buisson wines are then aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
