Bettane & Desseauve
"Creamy, dense and with a bouncy finish, it's already very good". (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France) Surprisingly aromatic with mineral and floral notes, the 1er Cru Les Combettes is coated and has a lively, fresh finish. A very successful white in a complex vintage!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated 16.5/20 (Reference wine)
Domaine rated (2018 guide) 4*Stars (High-quality producers, the glories of the French vineyard)
About the wine:
The creaminess, density and bouncy finish are already very good.
About the domain :
Édouard Labruyère's enthusiasm and determination to position this estate as one of the world's great vintages is clear to see. His efforts are evident in the vineyard, which has been organically farmed since 1997, in the cellar, where foudres and demi-muids have made their appearance since 2012, and, crucially, in the glass. With its exceptional range of Grands Crus from 22 hectares of vineyards, including 17 hectares in Côte de Beaune and an exclusive representation of Grands Crus in Côte de Nuits, this estate has all the attributes to join the elite of Burgundy estates.

Lousy, if not outrageous, value for money.
