Janisson Baradon et Fils is a champagne house owned by the Janisson family, winegrowers for 5 generations. The Janisson Baradon Champagne House cultivates around 9 hectares of vines in Epernay, and plots in Chouilly and Brimont. For several years now, the vineyards have been managed using the "lutte raisonnée" method. Each plot is planted with grass to protect the biological functioning of the soil, thus favoring healthy ecological methods. Established on the hills above Epernay, this beautiful house was created by Georges Baradon (remueur) and his son-in-law (tonnelier) in 1922.
Today run by Richard Janisson and his two sons, Maxence and Cyril, the Janisson Baradon Champagne House has always sought to assert the character of its champagnes and the typicity of their terroir, notably by harvesting at high ripeness. The wines are matured in vats and small oak barrels, and aged for at least three years in total darkness, deep in the chalk cellars.
