Domaine Terre Inconnue
Visit Domaine Terre Inconnue Since 1997, Lucien and Robert Creus, father and son, have been producing smooth, gourmet red table wines in a constant quest for optimum quality.

Visit Estate Unknown Land is a "hand-made" estate, where everything is measured, starting with yields, ruthlessly reduced to give the best, and where no fertilizers are used. The table wines produced by Domaine Terre Inconnue, with their beautiful red color, will delight wine lovers looking for "real" Languedoc wines.

This wine is flattering on the nose, seductive from the very first sip. It presents aromas of red fruits and spices. On the balance, its roundness is subtle and enhanced by great freshness. Decant for a long time (at least 3 hours) to enjoy with spicy food. It will be at its best in at least 5 years.

Domaine Terre Inconnue - Sylvie 2011

Terre Inconnue cultivates "forgotten" grape varieties, such as Serine, an ancient Syrah variety, which, when blended with Syrah (the current variety), both of which come from very low yields, produces a clearly identifiable wine. A style in which power is always present, but finesse and freshness take on a whole new dimension. A colorful, dense, spicy wine with great ageing potential!

In the 100% estate series, here's the generous Grenache. Los Abuelos is an incredibly complex, fruity wine, powerful and deep, with aromas of citrus, red fruit and leather, finishing with a toasted bread crust! A great wine to be enjoyed with the finest game, which today should reveal the finest secrets of its evolution.

Few people like to vinify 100% Carignan cuvées. Robert Creus produces this Cuvée Léonie from very old vines from the Saint-Christol terroir. With its lovely aromas of black fruits punctuated by hints of spice, this is a wine of solid body, dense substance and melted tannins, sustained by good freshness. A success that can be appreciated today with a fine piece of beef, for example...

A flattering wine on the nose, seductive from the very first sip: a combination of ripe black fruits and spices, in a massive, opulent body, but superb balance and freshness. Decant for a long time (at least 3 hours) to appreciate it with spicy food. It will be at its best in at least 5 years.

Robert Creus is one of those who know how to tame the power of Carignan to produce excellent cuvées, as with Les Bruyères, where he added Grenache in 2012. The combination of power and finesse results in a superbly fruity, spicy wine with excellent substance and balance. A gourmet wine that charms from the very first moment...
