Rosé de Loire
The Rosé de Loire appellation d'origine contrôlée potentially covers the entire AOC Anjou and AOC Touraine areas (for which it respects the respective growing regulations).

Annual production ofAOC Rosé de Loire is around 56,000 hl for 1,100 ha, mainly in Anjou. The following grape varieties are authorized for use in Rosé de Loire: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grolleau, Pineau d'Aunis, Gamay and Côt. To facilitate cultivation and obtain excellent value for money, mechanization is common in this appellation. Vines are generally planted at a density of 4,000 to 5,000 vines/ha, and pruned using Guyot (single or double).

AOC Rosé de Loire wines are the perfect companion for sunny days, light, supple and flowing... They come in shades of pale pink with gray highlights, or raspberry pink with orange highlights. They are generally highly aromatic and gourmet, with notes of red berries, violets and English candy. Light and fresh on the palate.

"A real treat

La Roulerie, famous for its sweet wines and dry Anjous, presents here its dry rosé Les Camélias 2020. A pale-colored wine, almost atypical for the region, composed of equal parts Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. It offers a delicate nose and a fresh mouthfeel, for a thirst-quenching juice. A pleasant rosé as an aperitif or with summer grilled meats...

Château Soucherie - Rose Pivoine 2014

14/20 Gault & Millau

Rose Pivoine is a cuvée that generously expresses fresh red fruit. Round and lively, it is remarkably fresh on the palate, with the tension characteristic of Loire wines. A rosé that goes perfectly with simple summer dishes. Immediate pleasure!
