Château des Tourettes
In 1997, Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen acquired Château des Tourettes, located a few kilometers from Apt. Their decision was prompted not only by the beauty of the Luberon landscape, which immediately appealed to their artistic souls, but also by the Château des Tourettes wine estate, which offered them new perspectives. Indeed, despite the heat of the region, the vines, situated at an altitude of 420 metres, benefit from ideal conditions, ensuring slow ripening. With time and hard work, the Château des Tourettes estate has confirmed its character, and the adventure continues...

Château des Tourettes - Tinus Marsanne-Roussanne 2021
91/100 RVF
"A ripe palette, on a dominant marsanne with beewax, dried fruit and a touch of honey. The patina of the wood adds a certain sweetness. The palate is full and vinous, with a broad mid-palate well counterbalanced by beautiful bitters". (Le Guide RVF 2024).
Château des Tourettes - Tinus Raisins Rôtis 2016
15,5/20 RVF
-
16,5/20 Bettane & Desseauve
"A lovely aromatic palette with brightness and freshness. The nose is much fresher in 2016 than in 2017. The juice is racy, with good breadth and vinosity true to the south, but the mineral imprint is there. It's more taut than the 2017." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2020 - RVF) A wine of character and interest, without a doubt!
Château des Tourettes - Tinus Grand Rouge 2017
3/5 (5 reviews)
16,5/20 Coup de Coeur RVF
"A quality juice. The wine is ripe, without excess, with a certain freshness, a flavorful dimension and good concentration. It's long and drawn out." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2020 - RVF) This original blend of 1/3 Cabernet-Sauvignon, Grenache and Syrah comes from Château des Tourettes, which has terroirs at altitude (around 400m) with limestone-rich soils. A must-taste!
Château des Tourettes - Tinus Chardonnay Plateau de l'Aigle 2019
3.8/5 (5 reviews)
16,5/20 Coup de Coeur RVF
"A ripe Chardonnay with yellow fruit, almonds and dried fruit. The touch of reduction that tautens the aromatic phase refocuses the nose, the oak is well managed. The palate is full-bodied, with a rather broad core, but the juice remains coherent and full-bodied, with toasty nuances". (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2021 - RVF)
Guffens au Château des Tourettes - Bien Entendu Chardonnay Viognier 2014

Guffens au Château des Tourettes - Bien Entendu Marsanne Roussanne 2013
3.7/5 (22 reviews)
15,5/20 Bettane & Desseauve
This lovely blend of Marsanne and Roussanne is very precise on the nose, revealing aromas of gunflint and chalk. On the palate, the wine is initially quite rich, before evolving to a very limpid, precise finish. A very pleasant, fresh and precise white, ideal with snails, for example...
Guffens au Château des Tourettes - Enfin Grande Trilogie 2012
3.8/5 (6 reviews)
16,5/20 Bettane & Desseauve
"Blackcurrant, cedar, graphite and white flowers mingle with subtle oak, with precision and tension in the tannin. More virile than the cuvée d'endes, this selection of syrah, grenache and cabernet-sauvignon now expresses the serious side of the latter. Future assured. (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France 2015). A complex red with a toasty nose, peppery and black fruit aromas, and a remarkable texture on the palate...
Guffens au Château des Tourettes - Enfin Grande Trilogie 2009
3.5/5 (10 reviews)
In 2004, Jean-Marie Guffens launched a grand vin rouge "Enfin!", the estate's first red wine. Guffens au Château des Tourettes - Bien Entendu Roussanne Viognier d'Aigle 2009
3.6/5 (7 reviews)
This cuvée comes from a plot called"Plateau de l'Aigle", where Roussanne (70%) and Viognier (30%) are planted on limestone soil of low fertility, resulting in low yields. The result is a complex wine in which fleshy fruit aromas such as peach mingle delicately with peppery notes. On the palate, it's fat and suave, powerful and precise! A fine bottle...
Guffens au Château des Tourettes - Rouge Enfin 2004
Long pigeonholed as a "white wine producer", Jean-Marie Guffens launched a great red wine in 2004. The name of this cuvée is thus very apt, and it is without doubt a lovely wine, with discreet toasty and fruity notes (black fruits), good freshness, round tannins and a perfectly balanced, easy-to-digest palate. The quintessence of Guffens know-how at the service of a rich, nuanced terroir. A fine bottle to enjoy without delay!
