Médaille d'Or

"A great tuilé that remains at the top: the superb color is adorned with the lime-green reflections of rancio. Dried fruit, wax, dark tobacco, chocolate, cashews, walnuts, juniper... this wine is an aromatic exploration into a world of rare richness, both on the nose and on the palate. A delicacy and a marvel of balance. (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2016)

About the estate:
Founded in 1910, the Maury cooperative winery is now the oldest in the department still in operation. After the wine revolts of 1907, it brought together more than 130 owners. Today, the winery has 870 hectares of land belonging to its members; it lives off Grenache grapes, which produce traditional natural sweet wines and, since 2011, dry Maury wines.
