Domaines Chermette - Beaujolais NOUVEAU Origine Vieilles Vignes 2024
4/5 (2 reviews)
This somewhat atypical primeur, made from old vines, is the pure expression of Gamay: a vinous cuvée, as close to the grape as possible and always unchaptalized. Dark color, structured, fleshy palate, very ripe red and black berries. This is a top-of-the-range cuvée with character. Complexity and body on the palate make this a real wine that can improve over winter and be drunk well into summer.
Domaines Chermette - Beaujolais NOUVEAU Les Griottes 2024
5/5 (1 review)
This cuvée comes from the 20 hectares of Gamay planted mainly at Le Vissoux in Saint Vérand on dark-colored plagio-granite soil. Mellow and complex, the nose with notes of violets and tart red berries evolves into a juicy, easy-drinking, full-bodied palate. Dominant aromas of blackberry, cherry, raspberry, good persistence, skinny tannins.

Origine Vieilles Vignes, the emblematic wine of the estate that has been reviving the Beaujolais of yesteryear since 1986. This cuvée is made in the pure Beaujolais tradition. Domaines Chermette - Beaujolais Blanc Chardonnay Collonge 2023

Still little-known, white Beaujolais can astonish and amaze your friends. This Chardonnay is a rarity to be discovered. Round, rich and full-bodied, with aromas of white flowers and citrus fruit, it delicately envelops the taste buds. It exudes a certain aromatic complexity due to the 3 types of terroir from which it comes. It can also reveal a few surprises with 3 or 4 years, with buttery, honeyed notes.
