About the domain :
As a young winemaker, Benjamin Passot's first experience of winegrowing was at Vosne-Romanée. At the same time, he developed his own domaine and settled on a few acres of Juliénas in 2017. He has since taken over vineyards in Chénas and Chiroubles.

About the wine:
Talent waits for no age. Benjamin Passot only set up his domaine in 2017. Originally from Burgundy, he was influenced by his past experiences in this vineyard. The grapes from his 80-year-old, organically-converted vines are completely destemmed, fermented with indigenous yeasts and then aged for ten months in barrel. Burgundian DNA is evident in this airy, elegant cuvée. Notes of cooked cherries are a prelude to a juicy, admirably fine body carried by discreet, fine acidity. A digestible, dynamic wine that's a joy to drink (September 2023, n°88).
