The fruit of a late harvest, In Extremis is a sweet wine made in the Austrian tradition: the marc is bathed in a new white wine of the year. Jean-Paul Brun is probably one of the few growers of Roussanne in Beaujolais. Once again, he demonstrates that it's possible to do excellent things with this grape variety, which produces a full-bodied, elegant, gourmet white that's delicious beyond compare!

A new vintage, the 2012 was rated: Gerbelle & Maurange 15/20, RVF 14/20
Beaujolais Cuvée Première is produced from the youngest vines. A lovely red combining fruitiness and roundness with good acidity and straight, dense tannins. Beautiful aromas of red and black fruits will allow you to enjoy it now, but it will also withstand two to three years of cellaring. Not to be missed!
