"When desires become reality with this high-quality vintage!"
"It has a balanced and concentrated bouquet, with notes of white peach and praline infusing the mineral aromas. Very calm and discreet at first, it then gains in intensity. The palate is well-balanced with notes of tart marmalade and quince, beautiful depth and cohesion, halfway between classicism and the generous, almost tropical nature of the 2022 vintage. Highly recommended" (Vinous 2023)

About the estate:
An old Chablis family, the Michels cultivate the best areas, both premier crus and grands crus. The estate is also one of the very few to offer the Grand Cru Grenouilles, whose main producer remains La Chablisienne. Since 1969, the wines have been vinified in stainless steel vats, so they often start out discreetly in the bottle, but their minerality reveals itself beautifully after a few years of aging.

About wine:
A grand cru with concentration and aging potential. A great combination of maturity and richness, cut by salinity and citrus acidity. On the northern slope of the Vaudésir valley, Michel owns two plots planted on rich clay soils. Vaudésir can be a heat trap, but for those facing north, this is less of a problem.

About wine:
The Chablis Vaudésir Grand Cru 2022 comes from two plots located in the northern part of the climat, from vines aged 60 and 70 years old. It has a balanced and concentrated bouquet, with notes of white peach and praline infusing the mineral scents. Very composed and discreet at first, it then gains in intensity. The palate is well-balanced with notes of tangy marmalade and quince, beautiful depth and cohesion, halfway between classicism and the generous, almost tropical nature of the 2022 vintage. Highly recommended.
