Splendid deep red color with blue and black highlights
Nose
Airy and complex, with aromas of fresh strawberry, rose, botanicals (lichen, bramble), sugared almond, and flint.
Mouth
Superb depth, tart red fruits and white stones, beautiful expression of maturity, spicy aromas (white pepper, mint), lovely balance between tannins and attractive acidity, finish with fruity notes (grenadine, redcurrant, pomegranate) and minerality, an exceptional terroir wine, very elegant and complex.

About the estate:
More than just a novelty, it's a renaissance. The return of this old house is a welcome sight. The man who revived it is Laurent Delaunay. He is the great-grandson of the founder and has established himself as a leading figure in the Languedoc wine industry, specializing in wines for everyday enjoyment. It is in Burgundy, on his own land, that he once again demonstrates the full extent of his talent and vision. We particularly recommend the Nuits-Saint-Georges vintages, vinified with extreme care and attention to tannin extraction, resulting in voluptuous, tender wines that are always straightforward. The entire range is flawless.

About the estate:
Laurent and Catherine Delaunay, founders of the Badet-Clément wine house in Nuits-Saint-Georges, have revived the Édouard Delaunay wine merchant business, founded in 1893 by Laurent's great-grandfather. It offers a range of wines mainly from the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, ranging from regional appellations to grands crus.
