Produced in the locality known as "En Charron" at an altitude of around 300 meters, the excellent sunshine and thin limestone soil guarantee this cuvée a great aromatic finesse. Thus, in its beautiful golden color, the wine has a fresh, slightly roasted nose. On the palate, we are captivated by aromas of almonds and hazelnuts. Rated estate (2021 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

Bertrand Bachelet, a young winemaker who settled here in 2011, is at the helm of this 13-hectare estate stretching from Maranges to Pommard. Sustainable viticulture and the Royat cordon are the norm here, as are mass selections developed from the estate's oldest vines. The range is characterized by wines with ripe, intense fruitiness. The reds, which account for the vast majority of production, are vinified after destemming in concrete vats and have silky tannins, while the whites, without bâtonnage, offer roundness and juicy, honeyed orchard fruit aromas.
