Grown on a terroir of rounded pebbles and boasting a deep red color with ruby highlights, the estate's Tradition cuvée offers a spicy, smoky nose with hints of red fruit and candied morello cherry. A Corbières with silky, ripe tannins on the palate, with aromas of blackcurrant and cherry, and a lovely long finish. It would be a wonderful accompaniment to a nice cut of red meat, for example...

About the estate:

Northwest of Lézignan-Corbières lies a vast estate (180 hectares) focused on export, acquired in 1987 by Anne-Marie and Guilhem Durand. It was the first of its kind in Languedoc-Roussillon. In 2015, it became the first in Languedoc to be acquired by a Chinese group, the importer BHC International Wine Assets Management. Close to Minervois, the vineyard is located on an ancient terrace of the Aude, rich in rounded pebbles.
