"Silky deep ruby with purple highlights. Nose of red and black fruits with vegetal and peppery notes. Seductively powerful on the palate, with a touch of sweetness. An iron fist in a velvet glove! Great mineral freshness on the finish". (Gilbert & Gaillard 2023).

Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2024) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Like many Corbières estates, Pech-Latt is of monastic origin: the estate depended on the nearby abbey of Lagrasse, whose vineyard is attested in 784. Located at the foot of the Alaric mountain, this vast unit (340 ha, including 160 ha of vines) has been farmed organically since 1991. Today, Lise Sadirac is the manager of the estate, which belongs to the Louis Max group from Burgundy.
Guide des Vins Gault & Millau
Estate rated 5*Stars (Outstanding production)
About the domain :
At the foot of the Alaric mountains, Pech-Latt's certified organic vines are planted on limestone and red marl soils. Hard work, then, as the estate exceeds 90 hectares, with a varied grape variety that gives pride of place to carignan and grenache noir, as well as marsanne in the white. After de-stemming - except for some of the carignan - the musts undergo long vatting, followed by ageing in vats or oak barrels for some of the older vines.
Gilbert & Gaillard
Rated wine (guide 2023) 90/100
About the wine:
Deep ruby with crimson highlights and a lovely oily character. Nose of red and black fruits with vegetal and peppery notes. Seductively powerful on the palate, with a touch of sweetness. An iron fist in a velvet glove! Great mineral freshness on the finish.
James Suckling
Wine rated (guide 2023) 92/100
About the wine:
Notes of black cherry, cassis, dried thyme and peppercorns. Medium-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Firm and serious, with a juicy core of cherry and blackcurrant in the middle and a spicier, juicier core of blueberry towards the end.

Favorite for this Grand Vin, where Pech-Latt's art of blending reveals generous aromas of wild berries (wild strawberries and blueberries in particular) and fresh herbs, complemented by a fine pinch of white pepper and a touch of zan. Full-bodied, but without excessive heat or heaviness, the palate unfurls an opulent, lush texture with an unctuous feel, as well as a delicious, slightly invigorating juice, aided by a good dose of melting, graceful tannins that provoke a delicate sensation of tenderness and voluptuousness that is expressed from start to finish. Despite its outdated presentation, this highly palatable Corbières with TB. RQ/P. invites tasting today with Corbières lamb mice à la Languedocienne. Score = 4.2.
