Since the 2006 vintage, Kevin Fontaine, head of production, has been the man behind the vines and the wine. A skilled winemaker, he also exercises his talents in the vineyard with the help of Luc Conte, head winemaker. A precise, enthusiastic, warm-hearted taster, Kevin puts all these qualities to good use to raise Domaine Charles Joguet 's Chinon as high and as far as possible in the hierarchy of Loire wines....

This is a pleasant Chinon with plenty of character. Beautiful aromas of juicy red and black berries express themselves against a background of spices. The ripe tannins give a fine structure, softened by light barrel ageing. A gourmet, full-bodied wine not to be missed!
