Bettane & Desseauve

"Deep garnet color, slightly evolved. Complex nose, garrigue, beautiful toasted and spicy tones, discreet oak. Smooth attack, magnificent velvety texture, full-bodied, one can breathe in an arid and wild landscape, the terroir in a bottle. Superb." (Le Guide des Vins 2015 - Gilbert & Gaillard)

Wine rating (2015 guide) 15/20 Favorite (Very good wine)

Rated estate (2015 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About wine:

Aromas of tapenade and garrigue, structured and spicy on the palate.

About the estate:

The ten hectares planted on this northern slope of the Alpilles, on clay-limestone soils, produce increasingly accomplished reds that age well, with a pleasant freshness on the finish. Neil Joyce can be proud of his latest vintages.
