In a bold blend of three Grenache varieties planted in 1898, this low-yield cuvée (6hl/ha) distills aromas of white peach, cut grass, and honey. The wine has a beautiful balance between stone fruit and acidity on the palate, which is light, airy, and refreshing. The salty finish provides a lovely length.

Wine rating (2023 guide) 92/100 (2020 vintage)

Rated estate (2023 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

Paul Old cultivates these old vines between Corbières and Roussillon using biodynamic methods. The minimalist approach in the cellar produces some high points (Prioundo and L'Extrême, in white) but also some low points, with gas saturation in certain vintages and sometimes a lack of clarity. However, the wines age well and benefit from aeration.
