A bold blend of the three Grenache varieties planted in 1898, this low-yielding cuvée (6hl/ha) distills aromas of white peach, cut grass and honey. The wine boasts a fine balance between stone fruits and acids on a light, airy and refreshing palate. The saline finish is long-lasting.

Expert opinion

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France

Rated wine (guide 2023) 92/100 (Vintage 2020)

Domaine rated (guide 2023) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the domain :

Paul Old cultivates these old vines between Corbières and Roussillon biodynamically. The minimalist approach in the cellar produces both highs (Prioundo and L'Extrême, in white) and lows, with gas saturation in certain cuvées and an occasional lack of clarity. The wines do, however, know how to age, and benefit from aeration.
