"A pale yellow color, crisscrossed with fine, persistent bubbles. A precise nose of ripe fruit, complemented by a round, creamy palate with apricot aromas, enlivened on the finish by a hint of bitterness." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2019). A great success!

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated wine (2019 guide) Mentioned (Successful wine)

Rated estate (2019 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About wine:

A pale yellow color, crisscrossed with fine, persistent bubbles. A precise nose of ripe fruit, complemented by a round, smooth palate with apricot aromas, enlivened on the finish by a hint of bitterness.

About the estate:

Located in Ammerschwihr, an important wine-growing village northwest of Colmar, this estate celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2014. Its 17th-century cellars house old oak casks that are still in use today. It combines a wine merchant business with a biodynamically farmed estate.

Rated estate (2020 guide) Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Wine Enthusiast)

About wine:

Green apple and lemon are subtle but distinct on the fresh nose of this wine. The lightness and lively freshness continue on the sparkling palate, where the bubbles burst to reveal a background of yeast and sweetness. The finish is dry and bright.

About wine:

Lots of fairly pronounced green apple notes on this one, as well as green guava peel, but not much complexity. Fruity and easygoing with a touch of sweetness. Drink now.
