Note : Les Meilleurs Vins à Petits Prix 13,5/20
" Old barrels for a young grape. It's original, it's greedy and can be shared around a pan of chestnuts ". (Guide Gerbelle & Maurange- Les Meilleurs Vins à Petits Prix). This cuvée comes exclusively from the villages and terroirs of the Pierres Dorées region of southern Beaujolais, to which it also owes its name. The clay-limestone soils mixed with granite and iron oxide give this Beaujolais its freshness, lightness and particularly fruity aromatic power. A gourmet pleasure to share with friends!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine noté (guide 2014) Sélectionné (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)
About the domain :
"Christophe Coquard founded his own trading company in 2005. He offers a range of wines covering every appellation in Beaujolais, and more recently in neighboring Mâconnais. The labels are attractively decorated, and prices remain reasonable. The house didn't present its 2008s as we'd asked, but 2009s with a more flattering reputation. In this vintage, several crus disappointed us, but the regional appellations shone with fruit.
