"A cuvée from century-old vines, distinguished for its elegance. The nose is reminiscent of fresh, candied cherries; the palate is fleshy, full-bodied and rich, ending with spicy tannins. The wood ageing (twelve months in barrel, then three months in cask) is barely noticeable, and the tannins remain supple. A complete wine, to be enjoyed from 2013". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins)

About the wine:
Bottière-Pavillon (Depardon family) is not to be confused with Bottière des Perrachon, here a cuvée from century-old vines, distinguished for its elegance. The nose evokes fresh, candied cherries; the palate is fleshy, full-bodied and rich, ending with spicy tannins. The wood ageing (twelve months in barrel, then three months in cask) is barely noticeable, and the tannins remain supple. A complete wine, to be enjoyed from 2013.
About the domain :
Winegrowers in Juliénas since the early 17th century, the Perrachon family bought Ch. de la Bottière in 1877, then Dom. des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins (windmill). When Laurent Perrachon set up in 1989, he acquired Dom. des Mouilles, then parcels in Morgon, Fleurie and Saint-Amour: a total of 31 ha, with vines in six crus. With Maxime and Adrien, the new generation joined the domaine in 2016.
