Château Pape Clément
Château Pape Clément, located in Pessac, on the outskirts of Bordeaux, owes its name to its most famous owner: Pope Clement V. The Château Pape Clément estate belongs to the Pessac-Léognan appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) and, more generally, to the Graves wine-growing region. Based on soil with exceptional components, the 60 hectares of this vineyard are the result of a combination of passion and hard work. Each plot, each vine, each berry is pampered and then transformed according to rules worthy of a goldsmith.

Château Pape Clément is one of the jewels in the crown of Bernard Magrez's wide range of vineyards around the world. Based in Bordeaux, this major landowner has made quality his battle cry, hence the care taken with this terroir, whose exceptional qualities have made Pessac's reputation for over seven centuries. With pruning and leaf removal carried out to exceptionally high standards, hand-picking, and vinification and aging according to the strictest rules, everything is done to ensure that nature expresses its best without hindrance.
