"A very accessible Trousseau, the ideal companion for a little salted lentil!"

"The red lias marl from which this Trousseau comes is much less pronounced in color. The color, between blackcurrant and violet, is brilliant. The nose is still closed, but already delivers some lovely notes of cherry, blackberry and a little spice. Round and inviting, the palate opens with strawberry and finishes with morello cherry. The tannins are mellow and the harmony confirmed. Representative of the appellation and vintage, this wine is promising ". (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Wine rated (guide 2024) 90/100

Domaine rated 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))

About the domain :

He represents the tenth generation of Badoz at Poligny. Trained at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune, he returned to the domaine in 2003 and inaugurated the winery in 2004. It took some time to go organic, but certification was obtained in 2019. The domaine's vineyards are located in the Roussots and Grands Roussots districts. Half of the estate is planted with Savagnin, which doesn't mean you have to neglect the reds. On some cuvées, he takes barrel ageing a step further.
