"THE cuvée that beat the legendary Petrus in London in 2004 at a memorable blind tasting of the 1999 vintage!"
Based on a precise plot selection and a blend of Merlot and Petit Verdot, this grand cuvée benefits from exceptionally long ageing to refine its character. The 2019 vintage is already proving very affordable, with a beautiful openness and elegant tannins. Decant several hours before tasting, or cellar for a few years.

Wine rated (guide 2024) 90/100
About the wine:
A dense, concentrated and generous blend of Merlot and Petit Verdot. Aromas of dark plums, wet stones, grilled meat, baking spices and undergrowth. Full-bodied, with silky tannins. Rich and generous, with lots of berry, dark chocolate and spice character. Chewy and concentrated. Made from organically grown grapes.
Vert de Vin
Rated wine (guide 2024) 90/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About the wine:
The wine has a lovely, intense ruby color. The nose is fresh and fruity, with a slight reduction. There are notes of red fruits such as small cherries, but also spices such as pepper and nutmeg in the background. The second nose opens up with more fruit and a lovely freshness that accompanies a touch of acidity. The palate is fresh and fruity, with notes of cherry, wild strawberry and crunchy blackberry. The tannins are intense, with a hint of licorice. The finish is juicy with hints of strawberry, plum and fresh fig.
