"The crisp freshness of the grapes from the sandy vineyards bursts forth in Dyptique, fruity and tender, very precocious." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2017 - RVF) A buddy wine par excellence, Cuvée Diptyque expresses its freshness with red fruit aromas. Subtle vegetal notes recall the typicality of these 35-year-old Cabernet Franc vines. A crisp Bourgueil!

Rated (2017 guide) 15.5/20 (Good wine)
Domaine rated (guide 2025) 2*Stars (These great estates, often endowed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the wine:
The crisp freshness of grapes grown on sandy soils shines through in Dyptique, which is delicious, tender and very precocious.
About the domain :
Emmanuel Caslot and his sister Laurie continue the work of thirteen generations at this historic Bourgueil estate with love and rigor. Here, Cabernet Franc is gently vinified to express the nuances of the sand, clay and limestone terroirs of the lower, mid and upper slopes. Each label is judiciously dressed in a color that reflects the intensity and complexity of the wine: from bright red for Peu Muleau to deep purple for Grand-Mont. These absolute benchmarks of Bourgueil highlight the fine, cool austerity of Cabernet Franc, while at the same time displaying a magnificent suavity of texture. We salute the bottle ageing in the tuffeau cellars before release.
