With a fresh texture and a smooth finish, the palate surprises with its racy, full-bodied, and deep character, featuring dark fruits, a touch of spice, and toasted notes, supported by a powerful and consistent tannic structure that is still a little austere. Long, persistent finish. After a long decanting, this beautiful winter wine was greatly appreciated with a Flemish carbonnade of venison with porcini mushrooms. Rating = 4.1.
